A celebration and call for a gathering are to be made on October 21, on the anniversary date of the birth in 1925 of Cuban American singer and cultural icon Celia Cruz. There will be a public event at the Celia Cruz Square with free music and film screenings at the Hollywood & Vine Metro Station in front of the Pantages Theatre.
