"The Old Man and the Sea"

"The Old Man and the Sea" is the multimedia stage presentation of the arts and humanities program entitled "Cubans in Hollywood" on the 45 anniversary of the passing of Ernest Hemingway on July 2nd, 2006 . This symposium (1 to 7 PM at the 87 seats Inside the Ford Theatre) will become a multimedia performance designed by Angel Marrero and Carlos Leon at the 1,250 seats Ford Amphitheatre) from 8:30 to 10:30 PM lead by the Francisco Aguabella Jazz Band and the compositions of Aurelio de la Vega.

Stage Of The Arts, Inc. is excited to be a part of the Ford Amphitheatre’s 2006 season. The Ford is an historic outdoor theatre nestled in the Hollywood Hills across the 101 freeway from the Hollywood Bowl. The amphitheatre provides an intimate space for dance, music, theatre and film aficionados alike. You’ll experience our show closer than you could imagine in an outdoor amphitheatre, because no seat is further than 96 feet from the stage! We are proud and happy to be appearing in such a beautiful venue and hope you’ll join us on Sunday July 2, 2006, when we perform under the stars.

The Cubans in Hollywood program start next Sunday May 21 as theme of the CUBAN MUSIC FESTIVAL at Echo Park, celebrating the contribution of Cubans to the entertainment industry as well as cultural dimension.
